[Complete] Shattered Hearts- Chapter 4

Chapter 4

"Well I better go, I have a filming tomorrow." Nino said as he got up and waved good-bye to everyone. When Nino left, the other members started leaving as well. Everyone said their good-byes to Emi and she was left with Aiba. Aiba's family was already upstairs, ready to go to sleep.

Emi was looking at her gifts from Arashi. They gave them to her before they left the restaurant and she turned her head to Aiba. "Are you staying here, Masaki?" Emi asked. Aiba smiled and said. "I don't want to drive to my house so I told them that I would stay.." Emi nodded and she walked towards her stuff. "Well I better go. Masaki, bye-bye." Emi carried her stuff while struggling to wave good-bye and then Aiba suddenly grabbed her wrist. Emi turned around and she looked at Aiba. "Masaki?" She asked. Aiba looked down and then suddenly let go and pulled back.

"Gomen, I thought maybe you need a ride home. I'm guessing you still haven't gotten your driver's license yet..." Aiba looked at Emi and she smiled back at him. "I'm still afraid of cars. Well, if you wanted to ask me then you could of said so.." Emi giggled while Aiba tried to laugh with her.

"Is this the place?" Aiba asked as he turned into the parking lot. Emi nodded and Aiba parked in a spot. He turned off the car and Emi started to grab her bags. "I can't believe my parents gave you some food they cooked before we left." Emi giggled and nodded. "Your parents are amazing, I would trade parents with you any day." Emi smiled and opened the car door. "Emi-chan, you want me to help? Meanwhile, I can check your apartment." Aiba smirked. While Aiba was smirking, Emi moved his hands so his arms were stretched out in front of her. His fingers were out as well and then Emi piled her stuff on top of Aiba's arms and hands.

"Chotto! I can't carry everything!" Aiba shouted as he tried to balance her things on his arm. Emi moved her head so she can see him. "How am I suppose to open the door?" Aiba moved his head and saw that Emi was carrying a her purse and jacket. "I hope the elevator is working today.." Emi mumbled as her and Aiba walked towards the doors. Emi saw the elevator and Aiba pointed. "We can use those." Emi nodded and quickly walked to the elevators to see a note.

Sorry for the inconvenience. The elevator is unavailable today. It will be operating by tomorrow.

Emi turned around and sighed. "I guess we have to use the stairs..." Emi grinned while Aiba whined. "Why do these things happen to me!" Emi and Aiba walked towards the stairs and Emi smiled. "Ready?"

After 6 floors and many flight of stairs. Emi was exhausted and Aiba on the other hand, couldn't walk anymore further. "We're here!" Emi shouted as they walked towards a door. "Room 621 huh.." Aiba said as he shuffled his head. Emi grabbed her keys from her purse and unlocked the door.

"Like it?" Emi asked as she opened the door. "Uh.. I can't really see it.." Aiba said while he tried to balance the bags. Emi giggled and she took some of the bags off from Aiba. He was tired and laid on the sofa. "Wow, nice house." Aiba gasped and gazed around the room while laying on the sofa. "Would you like some coffee?" Emi asked and Aiba nodded back as a reply.

Emi made coffee and placed it on the coffee table. Aiba sat up straight and Emi handed his coffee cup to him. Emi sat on the sofa and looked around her house. "Emi-chan, isn't this house a bit small?" Aiba asked. Emi shook her head and crossed her legs on the sofa. "I like it, it gives me this kind of comfort." Emi smiled and looked at her cup of coffee. "Well, I better go. Ja ne, Emi-chan." Aiba got up and put his shoes on. He smiled and waved good-bye to Emi.

Aiba was walking towards the stairs. He was in the hallway and Emi slowly closed the door. She was glad that Aiba came over. She locked the door and meanwhile on the other side. Aiba was in the stairwell. He had his head on his knee and was on the floor crying because deep down inside, he really missed her for the pass 3 years.
