Chapter 3

Emi arrived to Aiba's family restaurant. There was a sign on the door, that said it was closed. But she was suspicious of what Arashi planned for her so she opened the door. When Emi opened the door, she saw that the whole restaurant was pitch black. Emi walked a few steps forward and she heard a popping noise. She closed her eyes and covered her face with her arms. The lights turned on and Emi looked up to see Arashi and Aiba's family smiling at her. There was a banner that said. "Welcome home Emi-chan!" She smiled and let loose of her arms. "Emi-chan! Welcome back." Everyone said in a unison. She giggled and everyone came up to her.

"Wow, Emi-chan. You look different!" Aiba made the first comment about Emi. She smiled and looked at herself. "Honto ni? Masaki, you look different too. I bet you still haven't changed your baka ways..." Nino nodded and Aiba smacked him on the head. Emi giggled and said. "Nino, you haven't changed a bit." He smiled and she saw Jun. "New hairstyle? I like it, it suits you. Anyways, I heard you did a movie for Hana Yori Dango. I haven't seen it but I expect it will be great to watch." Jun smiled and said. "Arigato." Emi turned her head to Sho, he looked hesitated. "I heard from my mother that you were a newscaster for the Beijing Olympics. Sugoi!" Emi said in a excited voice. Sho was staring at her for the whole time, he seemed disappointed and sad. Emi didn't notice it and went to look at the last person.

"Riida.. You look...more tan." Emi looked at his skin. Jun came up and patted him on his shoulder. "He found a hobby that he likes." Emi nodded and said. "Isn't your hobby clay?" Ohno shook his head and said. "It's something you do outdoors." Then she said in a little voice. "That site was totally wrong..."

"Hmm. We didn't hear you, Emi-chan." Aiba said. "Nothing. Anyways Riida, what is your new hobby?" Emi smiled and he said. "Fishing." Emi nodded and smiled. "Fishing huh.... Sounds interesting. I want to try." Ohno's blank face turned into a smile. "Let's go!" Ohno said excitedly. Emi laughed and Jun said. "How about some other time. First, Emi-chan has to eat." Arashi moved to the side and Emi was in front of the dining table. Emi looked at the table and she saw that they were going to have nabe for dinner.

Everyone sat down and Emi bowed to Aiba's parents and brother. Ever since Aiba and Emi became friends, she would often come over and helped out with the restaurant. When Aiba's father decided to hire employees, she decided that she would focus more on her studies. When Emi helped out with the restaurant, his parents felt that Aiba and Emi would get married to each other. Unfortunely, they didn't but they were still happy that they were still friends.

Emi sat down between Aiba and Sho. Sho wanted to switch spots with someone else but the other members sat down before Sho did. Sho kept playing with his hands, he was nervous to sit beside Emi. Emi smiled and looked at the food. "It looks delicious." Everyone nodded and shouted. "Itakimasu!"

An hour later, everyone became full. Most of the meat and vegetables were gone. Aiba's parents started to clean up the dishes and Emi got up to help. "Emi-chan, you can just leave the plates. We'll get them later. You can just sit there and chat with Masaki and the others." Aiba's mother said. Emi smiled at her and still insisted to clean up.

"Emi-chan hasn't changed a bit." Jun said as he looked at the other members. They all nodded and smiled as they watched Emi helping out Aiba's family. Nino sighed and said. "I wonder what is the reason why she left us 3 years ago.."
